Blue Lives Matter

______BLUE LIVES MATTER

The Sons of Confederate Veterans Camp #2086 monthly meeting will be held at 6:00 P.M. in Cross City Public Library Conference Room.  This will be a great and exceptional program.  We will be presenting the J. Edgar Hoover Law and Order Awards to Gilchrist County Sheriff Bobby Schultz.  This is in memory of the two Gilchrist County Deputies that were killed a little less than two years ago.

For those of you that wish to eat before the Meeting, we will gather at the Taste of Dixie Dinner at 3:30 P.M.  This will give us ample time to eat and still be able to set up the Conference Room for the meeting.

S.C.V. National Commander-In-Chief Mr. Paul Gramling will be making a special trip down from Shreveport, Louisiana for this presentation.  The S.C.V. Florida Division Commander Mr. Kelly Crocker will also be in attendance.  This is how strongly that we in the Sons of Confederate Veterans support the ‘Blue Lives Matter’ Program, and how much we support and care about good Law Enforcement.

LEE-JACKSON BANQUET

ALBANY, GEORGIA — Susan Lee, the head of the Virginia Flaggers group, will be the keynote speaker at the Albany chapter of the Sons of Confederate Veterans’ annual Lee-Jackson Banquet Feb. 29, 2020.

The banquet will be held at the Post 30, American Legion Hall, at 2916 Gillionville Road starting at 6 p.m.  Advance reservations are required. Tickets are $20 per person, although anyone under age 18 is admitted at no charge.

The Virginia Flaggers were organized on Sept. 5, 2011 by a group of dedicated Southerners who organized to defend the honor of the Confederate veteran, protest heritage violations, and forward the colors (of the Confederate flag) in Richmond, and Virginia and beyond.  The organization has grown to include hundreds of members from all over the country who have joined the group in defending the honor of Confederate veteran.
